Reporting an error in our content

If something on AMZBooking is wrong or out of date, we want to know. Articles, research and Help pages end with a “Report an issue” link that starts the report for you; on any other page, email us with its address.

How to report

  1. Use “Report an issue”

At the end of every article, research story and Help page, the link opens an email to us with the page address filled in. Guide pages link here from their sources section.

  2. Or email us

Write to support@amzbooking.com with the page address in the subject or message.

What to include

  • The page address.
  • What is wrong, quoted as it appears on the page.
  • What is correct, and where it is published — ideally an official or primary source, such as the airport operator or a government agency.
  • Whether you are affected by the error in a time-sensitive way, for example an imminent trip.
Please don’t send personal documents, booking details or payment information — we never need them to correct a page.

What happens next

  • An editor checks the report against the page’s sources and, where needed, the primary source you point to.
  • If the page is wrong, we correct it and add an entry to its update history describing the correction. Pages that rely on a disputed fact drop out of search engines until the fact is resolved.
  • If the page is right, we keep it and may add a clarification when the report shows the wording was unclear.
  • If the error is in an open dataset we use, such as OurAirports, we also report it to that project where we can.

We read every report but can’t always reply individually. Corrections follow our editorial policy.

Common questions

How do I report a mistake in a guide?

Email us the page address and what is wrong, or use the “Report an issue” link at the end of articles, research and Help pages, which fills in the address for you. If you can, say where the correct information is published.

Where does AMZBooking’s travel data come from?

Mainly from open datasets: OurAirports for airports and runways, and Natural Earth for cities and maps. Distances and rankings are our own calculations from those datasets, with the method on every page.
