Your privacy and data requests

We collect as little as we can and never sell it. This page explains, in plain terms, what happens to your data on AMZBooking; the privacy policy is the formal statement.

What we collect when you browse and search

Data AMZBooking handles when you browse and search
WhatWhyTied to you?
Search details you submit (places, dates, travellers, cabin)To open your search on our results pageNo — we don’t attach your identity to searches
Anonymous product events (for example “search started”), page type, device class, approximate countryTo learn, in aggregate, which pages and tools are usefulNo — no analytics cookies or persistent identifiers, and no IP address stored with events
Short-lived security logsTo keep the service secure, for example rate limitingKept briefly for security, then deleted

If you pick a home airport in a search form, your browser remembers it in its own local storage so forms can pre-fill it. It stays on your device; clearing your browser’s site data removes it.

Accounts aren’t available yet, so AMZBooking holds no profile, saved items or trips for anyone. When accounts launch, the account help page and privacy policy will say exactly what an account stores.

What our results page and partners receive

When you open live results on search.amzbooking.com or continue to a travel provider, those services are run by our partner Travelpayouts and by the providers. They receive your search details and an anonymous code (a SubID) describing which kind of AMZBooking page and module you came from — never your name, email or AMZBooking session.

  • Our links send only our site’s address as the referrer, not the full page address.
  • What you enter on a partner’s or provider’s site — names, contact and payment details — is handled under their privacy policy, not ours.
  • A SubID is described in our glossary and in how we make money.

Cookies

On amzbooking.com we only use cookies that are strictly necessary for security and, where accounts are offered, for keeping you signed in. We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies. Our results page and partner sites may set their own cookies under their own policies (cookie policy).

Asking about, correcting or deleting your data

Email support@amzbooking.com and tell us what your request concerns. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of personal data, and to complain to a data-protection authority.

Keep your details safe

We will never ask for a password, one-time code or card details to handle a privacy request.

For data you gave a travel provider while booking, contact that provider: we don’t receive it (who handles what).
