Your account, Saved and My Trips

An AMZBooking account is optional. It lets you save what you find, plan trips in one place and set your preferences — and you can download or delete everything at any time.

Accounts are coming later. Sign-in, Saved and My Trips aren’t available at launch; this page describes how they will work. Everything else on AMZBooking works without an account, and we can still help with the website and with privacy and data requests.

Do I need an account?

No. Searching, our guides and our tools all work without one. With an account you can keep Saved items, plan in My Trips, set home airports and other preferences, and choose which emails you get.

Signing in

AMZBooking accounts are passwordless. On the sign-in page, enter your email and we send you a one-time code; the same steps create an account if you don’t have one. Where the sign-in page shows them, you can also continue with Google or Apple.

  • We never ask for or store a password.
  • A sign-in code is only for the sign-in page. Never share it — AMZBooking support will never ask you for it.
  • You can sign out from your account page, including on all your devices at once.

Saved

Use the Save button on a route, destination or airport guide, or on one of our tools, to keep it in Saved. Saved is private to you, and you can keep up to 500 items. Saved items link back to the page — they never store a price.

My Trips

My Trips collects the plans for each journey. A trip has a name, optional dates and notes, and a status — “Idea”, “Planning”, “Booked” or “Completed”. Inside a trip you can add notes, places and other items of your own, or add something from Saved. You can put items in order and mark each one “Planned”, “Saved”, “Booked (by me)” or “Done”.

  • Trips are private to you.
  • You can have up to 100 trips, with up to 200 items in each.
  • “Booked (by me)” is your own label. AMZBooking doesn’t see, manage or change bookings you make with airlines, hotels or other providers — check with the provider for the latest details.

Preferences and notifications

On your account page you can set a display name, up to 5 home airports, a preferred currency and language, and travel interests.

You also choose which emails you get. Security and account messages, such as sign-in codes, are always on. Trip reminders, updates to saved places, price alerts and travel inspiration are your choice; inspiration emails stay off unless you turn them on, and no price alerts are sent until AMZBooking supports price tracking with live, permitted fare data.

What we store

  • Your email address, held by our sign-in provider and used to sign you in.
  • The profile, preferences and notification choices you set.
  • Your saved items and trips.
  • A security log of events such as sign-ins and data exports, kept for 400 days.

We don’t ask for passport details or payment cards. Your AMZBooking sign-in stays on amzbooking.com: it isn’t shared with search.amzbooking.com or any travel partner, and a booking you make with a provider doesn’t appear in your account automatically. More in our privacy policy and cookie policy.

Download your data

On your account page, choose Download my data (JSON). The file contains your account email, profile, notification choices, saved items, trips with their items, and your security log.

Delete your account

On your account page, open Delete my account and type DELETE to confirm. This permanently deletes your profile, preferences, saved items, trips and security log, and signs you out. It cannot be undone.

We also delete your sign-in record with our sign-in provider. If that step can’t be done automatically, the confirmation page tells you, and you can email us from the same address to finish it. If you sign in again before then, you start with an empty account.

Getting help with your account

Email support@amzbooking.com, from the address on your account when you can, and tell us what you were trying to do. Never send passwords, sign-in codes, recovery codes, full card numbers or card security codes. For a booking, contact the provider you booked with — see who handles what.
