Why prices change
Airlines and hotels change prices and availability continuously, and seats or rooms at a given price can sell out. A results page shows the offers providers return at the moment you search, so an offer can change before you finish booking — even a few minutes later.
- The provider confirms the final price on its own site before you pay.
- Changing travellers, dates, cabin or extras changes the price.
- Some providers show a price before taxes or fees and add them at checkout; check the final total.
The price and terms shown by the provider when you book are the ones that apply. If a price changed between our results page and checkout, the provider decides what it will honour.
Ways to find a better price
A comparison only shows the offers for exactly what you searched, so the most useful thing you can do is compare more of the options that fit your trip. No tip can promise a lower price; each one shows you offers you would otherwise miss.
Compare nearby airports
Many cities have more than one airport within reach. Use the nearby airport finder and search from or to each one that works for you.
Search every airport in a city
Where a city has an IATA city code, choose its “all airports” option so the results cover all of them at once (searching for flights).
Try other dates if yours can move
Results cover the dates you enter. If you can travel a day or two earlier or later, search those dates too and compare.
Compare the total, not the headline
Before paying, check the provider’s final total with taxes, fees, bags and seats you need, and the charging currency (see below).
Search again before you book
Prices change continuously, so a fresh search shows the offers available now rather than earlier ones.
Why our guides show no fares
A fare is only accurate at the moment a provider quotes it, so our guides never publish fares, “from” prices or savings. They cover what stays true — which airports serve a place, how far apart they are, and what to compare — and live prices appear only when you run a search (our methodology on prices).
Currency and conversion
The provider decides which currency it charges in and shows it at checkout. If that differs from your card’s currency, your bank or card issuer converts it and may add a foreign-transaction fee; some checkouts also offer to convert for you at their own rate. Compare both before you choose.
- Check the charging currency on the provider’s payment page.
- Check whether the total includes taxes and fees.
- If offered a conversion at checkout, compare its rate with your card’s.
- Keep the receipt: it names the merchant you paid.
What our comparison includes
We compare available offers from partner airlines and travel agencies to help you find competitive options. No comparison service includes every offer available everywhere, and we don’t promise a particular price — confirm the final total and terms with the provider before paying (how comparing and booking works).
Common questions
How can I find a cheaper flight?
Compare more of the options that fit your trip: nearby airports, every airport in a city, and other dates if yours can move. Then compare the provider’s full total, with fees and bags, before you pay.
Is it cheaper to fly from another airport?
Sometimes, but not reliably: prices depend on the airport, the date and who flies the route, so the only way to know is to search from each airport that works for you. Count the cost and time of getting to each airport too; the nearby airport finder lists every scheduled-service airport near you with distances.
Why do flight prices change?
Airlines and travel agencies set their own prices and change them often: a cheaper fare on a flight can sell out, leaving higher ones, and providers adjust prices over time. AMZBooking doesn’t set, hold or predict prices, so a fresh search shows what is on sale now.
Why can a price change after I search?
Travel prices and availability come from providers at the moment you search and can change quickly, sometimes between the results page and checkout. The price and terms shown by the provider when you book are the ones that apply.
Can AMZBooking guarantee the lowest price?
No. No comparison service includes every offer available everywhere, so we don’t promise one; we compare available partner offers to help you find competitive options, and you should confirm the final total on the provider’s site before paying.
Which currency will I be charged in?
The provider you book with decides, and shows the charging currency at checkout. If it differs from your card’s currency, your bank may convert it and add its own fee, so check both before you pay.
