Data first
Every changeable fact we show — an airport’s codes, its location, the distance between two airports — is stored with its source, publisher, retrieval or review date and confidence. If we can’t source something, we leave it out or say plainly that we don’t have it.
We don’t invent
- No made-up prices, schedules, baggage fees or entry requirements.
- No fake reviews, ratings, rankings or endorsements.
- No “best” claims without a stated method.
Automation and review
We use software to assemble guides from structured data and to check them for completeness, sourcing, freshness and duplication. A guide only becomes eligible to appear in search engines when it passes our quality gate and, for new kinds of pages, a person has reviewed it. Pages that don’t meet the bar stay out of our sitemaps.
Independence
We earn commissions from some partners (details). Commercial relationships never decide what a guide says, and we don’t sell placements in our guides.
