- Swap in Utah Museum of Fine Arts (University and East Bench): Check for free-admission days and evening events before you go.
- Swap in Clark Planetarium (Downtown): The exhibit floors are free; pay only if you want a dome or IMAX show.

Downtown
Temple Square, convention hotels and City Creek Center on a wide-street grid
Pace and daylight
The sights in this plan add up to roughly 15–21 hours of visiting over 2 days, before meals and getting between them. Daylight runs from about 9.3 hours in December to 15.1 hours in June, so in winter start early and keep museums for the afternoon.
Getting between stops: Tram. UTA's TRAX light rail has three lines: the Green Line to the airport, the Red Line to the University of Utah and the Blue Line south through the valley.
