Ways to get around

Walking

The beach path along White Beach links Stations 1, 2 and 3 in about an hour end to end, and Bulabog is a five-minute walk from Station 2.

Tuk-tuk

Electric tricycles run along the main road; you can share one at a per-person rate or hire one privately to reach Puka Beach or the northern resorts.

Confirm the fare before getting in, especially for private trips.

Ferry

Boats cross from Caticlan Jetty Port on the mainland to Cagban Port on Boracay in about 15 minutes, running frequently through the day.

Pay the terminal and environmental fees at Caticlan and keep your receipts.

Boat

Banca outrigger boats run island-hopping and snorkelling trips, and paraw sailboats offer sunset sails from White Beach.

From the airport

Caticlan airport (MPH) is a few minutes by tricycle from Caticlan Jetty Port; with the 15-minute boat crossing and an e-trike or van on the island, most hotels are 45–60 minutes away. Kalibo International Airport (KLO), with more international flights, is about 1.5–2 hours by van to Caticlan.

Do you need a car?

No. Private cars are restricted on the island and distances are short; walk, use e-trikes and book transfers through your hotel.
